I'm Daniel Scott Forster, a Colorado photographer specializing in Fine Art Landscape and Nature photography. I'm considered one of the top Colorado landscape photographers based in Colorado Springs. My family arrived in the mountains of Westcliffe, Colorado eight generations ago. Based in Colorado Springs, I capture the dramatic beauty of our natural world, from summer wildflowers and fall colors to starlit mountain peaks. My work is displayed in homes and offices around the world, serving as windows to nature's most breathtaking moments. In one of my most rewarding roles as a photography instructor, I've led workshops and trained hundreds of photographers, sharing my passion and expertise with others on their creative journeys. My path to photography came from a deep desire to create and share the beauty around us. Living in Colorado gives me endless inspiration, from towering fourteeners to quiet wilderness scenes. What began with simple sunset photos has grown into something much deeper, driven by the joy of capturing those moments when nature seems to embrace us—when the sky explodes with color at sunset or when alpine meadows burst with wildflowers. Each image I create aims to tell a story and forge an emotional connection with the viewer.

How artist support works

The artist receives 10% of the print value of every paid frame with their photo. The print value is the part of the frame price that covers the print: net, excluding delivery and after discounts. We pay it out 45 days after the order is placed.
