How many gallery wall layouts do you have to choose from?
We have several hundred ready-made frame layouts in various sizes and configurations. You can customise each layout to your needs – change frame colours, margin or mount settings, and upload your own photos. If none of the ready-made layouts suit you, you can design your own gallery in Framky Studio.
How large a photo wall gallery can I design for my home?
We suggest the following sizes for standard galleries: small (120x80 cm), medium (150x100 cm), large (250x150 cm). However, you can choose any size by entering the width and height of the available space yourself - the system will propose a gallery layout that fits those dimensions. The maximum size of the photo wall composition we can produce is 10x5 meters.
How long does it take to hang a photo wall gallery using the Framky system?
Hanging a Framky photo wall takes about 15 minutes, with no drilling and no measuring. Every set includes a paper template that shows the exact position of each frame on the wall, so you don't need a spirit level or a tape measure — you simply tape the template up, mark the spots, and remove it. The frames then go up on the self-adhesive hangers that come in the box: peel off the backing, press each frame into place, and the gallery is ready. If you prefer a permanent fixing, each frame can also be hung traditionally on 2 nails in the inner corners (not included). Because there is no glass, the frames are light and easy to handle while you position them.
Can I create a custom picture frame layout for my wall?
Yes! If none of the ready-made products suit you, you can design a custom layout in Framky Studio. It's an advanced editor that allows you to freely create your gallery layout – you can add, remove and move frames as you wish. Can't find what you're looking for? Do the photo frames have glass protection?
Our frames are without glass – this is a conscious choice to preserve the exceptional print quality. Glass in a frame dulls photo colours and reflects ambient light, causing the print to lose depth and vibrancy. Without glass, colours remain sharp, vivid and true to the original shades – just as they appear in the finest art galleries. This way, your photos present themselves in their full glory, regardless of lighting.
Will hanging photo frames damage my walls?
Framky adhesive hangers will not damage your wall. When mounted according to instructions, they can be easily removed without damaging the paint. Watch the instructional video on how to properly remove the hangers. We have not observed any paint damage when removing the hangers from the wall when the frames were mounted according to instructions.
